In spite of the fact that it is obvious that there’s little or no difference between the opposition and the ruling party, it is my take that the ruling party (PDP) have shown blinding cluelessness and a deafening ignorance in tackling the crisis in the Northeast of Nigeria that threatens our sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The wanton destruction of lives by the so-called agents of terror, Boko Haram, in the face of a government that swore to protect the lives and property of its citizens is terrifying and leaves one wondering if there’s a legitimate government in Nigeria.
I’m worried, and I believe every right thinking Nigerian should be, too. Let’s speak devoid of sentiment because innocent Nigerians are being slaughtered like goats on a daily basis, while the government carry-on the process of governance as though all is well. The question I keep asking is, what’s the value of life in Nigeria?
All the mantra about the opposition party, APC being responsible for the crisis in the Northeast is balderdash. When you say the likes of Buhari are the sponsors of Boko Haram, and they are left to go about their business freely without being arrested and prosecuted, it leaves one wondering if you understand what it takes to govern.
We have lost our humanity!
