We always want to be seen as sons and daughters of God, and time and again, we do say, as such, we are heritage of the kingdom of God. Matter of fact, we are nothing but slaves if we are in total subjection to God, for then we would have lost our ability to resist Him.
The will of man is basically the factor that fights the will of God. If we hold that God’s will alone be done in ourlives, then we must be ready to relinguish ours for His. The irony of the matter is that, being a slave of God avails us the opportunity to be partakers of His(God’s) divine heritage.
We are aware that God’s will for us is far better than ours; His thought, better than ours; His ways, better than ours, and He knows precisely that which is required for our human and divine growth.
Apostle Paul, given the fact that he is a genuine son of God, did make clear that he is a slave of Christ Jesus, knowing that he has lost the power to resist the will of God.(See Romans 1:1, 6:16, 6:18, 6:22, 6:19-22 and Ephesians 6:5-6).
